Yoshi is blind but lives a life of grace, self-sufficiency and hope, helping sighted people and spreading a spirit of positivism and independence. This movie weaves an interview with Yoshi with a day in her life when she goes vegetable shopping and then cooks lunch for a friend. Through this simple storyline, Yoshi reflects on dependence, freedom, need, and generosity. 'No one is just a giver. No one is just a taker,' she says . 'We are all givers and takers.'
