Hope this shortened version of \"Art by MAL - retrospectively\" gives insight to an artist\'s journey. During my student time at the Pa Academy of the Fine Arts, I always searched for 1st person writings by artists rather than reading other\'s words about them. Thru their dialogues, they were teachers also.
