{"id":243,"date":"2012-09-27T22:56:55","date_gmt":"2012-09-27T22:56:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shortsnonstop.com\/p\/?p=243"},"modified":"2012-12-27T22:57:25","modified_gmt":"2012-12-27T22:57:25","slug":"water-take-1-announces-10-finalists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shortsnonstop.com\/p\/water-take-1-announces-10-finalists\/","title":{"rendered":"Water Take 1 Announces 10 Finalists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ventura Water with partners Limoneira\u2019s Limco Del Mar, Patagonia and iThentic announced today the top 10 water-focused films to be considered for the Water Take 1 online short film contest Grand Jury prize.\u00a0 Selected from among the 35 films entered, the finalists are:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ithentic.com\/p\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Picture-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"Picture 2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ithentic.com\/p\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Picture-2-300x72.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"72\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Salton Soul, directed by Mike Agnew, Greg Balkin and Tim Kressin<\/li>\n<li>Drop Drop, directed by Daniel Jonathan and Celeste Barbosa<\/li>\n<li>Ocean Friendly Gardens, directed by Rich Reid<\/li>\n<li>Storms End, directed by Aaron Schmidt<\/li>\n<li>The Forgotten Cycle, directed by Sahana Singh<\/li>\n<li>The Journey of Water, directed by Alex Uvari<\/li>\n<li>The Sea, directed by Caryn Sandoval<\/li>\n<li>Water, directed by Peter Jansen<\/li>\n<li>Water, directed by Ramesh S.<\/li>\n<li>We Are H2O, directed by Michael Carroll<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Grand Prize of $1,500 will be awarded to one of the finalists during a public ceremony hosted by Brooks Institute at their Ventura campus on November 8 at 6 pm; rsvp instructions to be announced at www.facebook.com\/watertake1.
